Luminarias lined Lockwood Avenue Dec. 18, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. as part of the American Cancer Society’s Lights for Life event. The candles were lit on Friday, Dec. 18, 5 to 10 p.m. The purpose of the event was to raise funds for and awareness of cancer research.
Community members and business lit luminarias that lined Lockwood Avenue last night to remember or honor a person who has been afflicted with cancer as part of the American Cancer Society’s Lights for Life event.
The candles were lit on Friday, Dec. 18, 5 to 10 p.m.
The purpose of the event was to raise funds for and awareness of cancer research.
