Karlie Kloss, born in Chicago, IL. was discovered in St. Louis at a charity fashion show when she was 13 years old.
School is stressful at times for Kloss. She misses a lot of her classes because of traveling, so to make up for what she is missing, she is currently enrolled in a program called Missouri options.
Missouri Options is basically online classes, at the end of these courses, students take a GED test which determines whether or not that student will receive a diploma.
Getting an education is very important to Kloss. About her plans after high school, she said, “College is something I really want to do. I just need to find the right school, and I don’t want to have to do it halfway because of my career.”
“I definitely look up to her. Not only because of what she does, she’s just a really good sister,” said sophomore Kimberly Kloss.
In addition to modeling, Kloss has done ballet since about fourth grade.
“She used to ride her bike to her ballet classes; she was really committed to it,” Kimberly said.
