In early August of 2024, the Webster Groves Aquatic Center went through a full renovation. The entire pool was torn down to be completely rebuilt and after nine months, it is set to open soon.
Before 2024, the pool had not received any renovations since 2018, which only featured an orange tube slide. Now the pool is experiencing a much larger renovation, including the world’s largest and tallest stand-up slide, according to an article from the Webster Kirkwood Times.
As summer begins, the pool will feature several openings. On May 25, a soft opening only allowed residents with a season pass to attend, then on the following day,it opened to the whole public.
