Principal Matt Irvin announced his retirement Monday, Oct. 14, via ParentSquare after six years as the high school principal.

In a message sent out to parents and students, Irvin said, “After much thought, I have decided to retire at the end of this school year.”

Irvin thanked both superintendent John Simpson and the rest of the Board of Education for their unwavering support throughout his time at Webster.

Throughout his time at Webster, Irvin believes that the community has “created a place where young people can thrive and grow.”

The district will continue to provide updates to the community on the selection process of a new principal.
