Senior Rebecca Fairbanks pursued several after school activities and curriculums, such as being the student council president, a student entrepreneur for Thrive, while also participating in cross country and track and field.

As a student council president, Fairbanks delegated the work and organized regular meetings on Wednesdays.

As a student entrepreneur for Thrive, Fairbanks is currently the chief working officer for the THRIVE starter company, Woofy, that produces and sells dog toys made from fire hoses.

Fairbanks is one of the lead seniors for track and field and essentially helps with her team´s warm-ups and motivates the underclassmen, boosting their morale to compete in races.

Fairbanks is also an intern for the Webster Groves School District´s communications department, where she makes employee newsletters graphics along with producing Instagram reels and posts.

Fairbanks´ part-time jobs include working at Bread Co., along with a catering company for weddings and corporate events.

During Fairbanks’ free time she likes to take walks around Forest Park, try out new restaurants in St. Louis and play with her dogs.

Fairbanks plans to attend DePaul University of Chicago and is majoring in marketing, which she hopes to pursue it as a career.

Fairbanks said, “I like connecting with people and representing brands and doing promotions for them.”
