Men’s and women’s cross country teams placed at the MSHSAA Class 4 State meet on Saturday, Nov 4. The men’s team placed fourth overall, their highest finish since 1970. The women’s team placed seventh overall.
The men’s team had one runner place, junior Dominic Buckman, who placed 12th overall.
The women’s team had two individual medalists: junior Parker Allen, who finished in 10th place, and freshman Carson Selby, who finished in 11th place.
“[The runners] built their successes around each other and our team and were able to do something special and history as a result. I am immensely proud of our guys and program,” said head men’s cross country coach Jon Petter.
