“Future Leaders is a fun and worthwhile program,” head director of the program, Jaime Adamski, stated.
Future Leaders is a program designed to help incoming freshmen transition from middle school into high school.
Adamski said she thinks Future Leaders is an important program because it helps relieve the stress for students coming into a new building by meeting upperclassmen. She said it is also a good opportunity for pacers who learn the importance of participating in the community.
It is a free program that will take place July 10-13.
WGHS students have the opportunity to become “pacers.” To be selected, students who apply will undergo an interview. If accepted, they will take on leadership roles and help collect donations for charity. This year, Adamski stated that they are collecting donations for the Jewish Food Pantry.
