Proposition S is a no-tax rate increase bond issue that would provide $45 million to the school district to improve the infrastructure of WGSD schools and facilities.
The money will be used to improve schools, athletic facilities, parking lots, and more. A detailed list of the proposed improvements can be found on yesforwgschools.org. This proposition will appear on the ballot on August 2, 2022.
The yesforwgschools Instagram account reads, “While our students are learning to support their community, we can set a great example of supporting our community too by voting Yes on Prop S.”
