Breaking News: Webster Groves High School on lockout

Webster Groves High School is on lockout Thursday, Dec. 2, due to an anonymous text message received by an administrator in regards to a threat posted on Snapchat.

The credibility of the threat is unclear according to an email sent to students from principal Matt Irvin.
In addition to the lockout, there has been an increased presence of Webster Groves Police Department officers and district administrators on campus.

Lockout means that all doors to the building are locked and students may not leave or enter the building, but classes continue inside the building as normal, according to the outline of the procedure in the Principal’s Handbook.
