Student council has started selling Crush sodas for Valentine’s Day. The orders can be placed using Venmo until Feb. 9. Students can also pay in cash from Feb. 4-5 and Feb. 8-9.
Half of the money earned will go to funding the 2022 prom, and the other half will go to a women’s shelter.
“We decided to do the women’s shelter around Valentine’s Day because of a lot of sexual assault and things like that, that happen around this time,” Sarah Ahrens, senior and student council president said.
Students don’t just have to buy a crush for their crushes it could also be for their friends, a teacher they like or a sibling who attends the high school.
