Breaking News: Dr. Matthew Irvin to be new principal

Dr. Matthew Irvin, current associate principal at Lafayette High School, was chosen to be WGHS’s next principal.

Irvin graduated from Lindenwood University with a doctorate in educational administration in the fall of 2016.

Before his administrative career, he worked as social studies, P.E. teacher and head football coach.

Principal Jon Clark announced his retirement in February.
