Statesmen lost to Jackson 37-46 on Jan. 5; however the score only mattered in the final quarter.
First period ended 11-13 Jackson leading. Webster looked to be counteracting Jackson’s offense but weren’t able to capitalize on its own offensive attacks. The Statesmen looked to be lacking confidence.
Second period ended with Webster tying it back up 21-21.
Third period had the same result and ended 31-31. Both teams looked capable to win over the other.
The final period was disastrous for Webster as faulty break away after faulty pass lead Jackson to a swift victory.
