Prom will be April 15, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the ballroom at Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark.
The theme for this year’s event is “old Hollywood.”
Junior vice president Adi Johnson described the theme as “Old Hollywood-esque style, like the old movies and a very glamorous setting.”
The dress code for this year’s prom remains the same as previous years. Formal wear and school dress code policy is included in the dance.
Senior and Mr. Webster winner Esque Ewing said, “I’ll be taking pictures and partying before prom. I’ll be partying at prom, and after prom I’ll be partying. It’s pretty much one big party for me.”
The food that is going to be at prom is chocolate fondue, popcorn, cheese cake and a variety of pastries.
Senior Cianna Vo said, “I’m spending the whole week preparing for prom, getting my nails done. I’m still looking and waiting on picking out my dress, but I know people have already picked out theirs. I’m exciting to see everyone dressed up and looking pretty.”
Music will be provided by the #1 DJ in Missouri, Dj Nune (Lamar Harris). Harris is a musician that offers jazzy and upbeat electronic sounds.
The cost for prom is “around $60 with parking of $10,” Johnson said.
