Sophomore Trinity Madison won this year’s All Write Festival’s Franzie Award for her poem, “I Pledge.”
Runners up included senior Miles Umbaugh for drama, sophomore Charlotte Marshall for poetry and junior Lark Hohle for fiction.
The other finalists were junior Kelaiah Killmade, junior Yusuf Randolph, freshman Ellie Gilstrap, junior Erica O’Brien, sophomore Sophia Taylor, junior Cordelia Frese, senior Dorothea Starr LeBeau and junior Sydney Cimarolli.
Madison received a $100 prize and her name will be inscribed on the All Write Festival’s plaque honoring Franzie winners.
