Eagle Award winner, senior Talor Crawford, has been one of the most involved students in WGHS and in the community.

“This year I was Student Council vice president, which took up a lot of my time, and I was SADD (Students against Destructive Decisions) president,” Crawford said.

She was also involved with STAR, Interact Club and National Honor Society.

Her favorite memory of high school was decorating the hallways for Turkey Day in Student Council.

Outside of school, Crawford volunteers at Re-Fresh, which is a fashion coalition, and several other places around the community. She has also received a Citizen of the Year award, which is given to 15 Missouri students.

“It was given for outstanding achievement in government courses, volunteering and writing an essay on what it means to be a good citizen,” Crawford said.

After high school, Crawford plans to attend Xavier University to get a double major in international business and political science.
