For the third year, DECA will sponsor the Mr. Webster pageant Dec. 5, in order to raise money for its New York trip.

This year the pageant will be in the auditorium from 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets cost $5, and calendars may also be bought for $13.

Last year DECA made about $800 through the event.

The 12 seniors will compete to win a rental tuxedo for prom. Juniors are no longer admitted as contestants because they have no use for a tuxedo if they do not go to prom.

Proceeds from the event will go towards DECA. Students are encouraged by senior and DECA member Jack Kemper to show up at the event and support DECA.

Kemper said, “I think we have a good group of guys this year. I guess you could call it an all-star lineup. Everyone should go. It will be a fun time.”

Kara Siebe, sponsor, suggested those interested “like” the Mr. Webster facebook page. (Photos by Jack Killeen)
