Attractions offer romantic potential

There is added stress to find a good place to take a date for Valentine’s Day, or to just hang out with friends. The following are a few ideas of where to go on Feb. 14.

 Baileys’ Chocolate Bar

Located at 1915 Park in Lafayette Square, St. Louis, MO 63104, this is a nice place to get dessert and hot chocolate.

Baileys’ has indoor and patio seating, with a fresh rose on every table.

The menu includes several items for children and teenagers, as well as 21 and older. The desserts, that Baileys’ are famous for, are around $10 each. This restaurant is non-smoking.

Baileys’ has recently won Sauce Magazine’s Favorite Dessert List, out of a number of restaurants.

Cyrano’s

Located at 603 E. Lockwood, in Webster Groves MO, 63119, Cyrano’s is a local restaurant. The interior also has a very romantic theme to it and is a good place to take a date, or a group of friends.

Award-winning food is served there, from the entrees to the desserts. Desserts, including their award-winning bread pudding, which is $7.95, are all around $10 each.

Steinberg Ice Rink

Located at 400 Jefferson Drive, St. Louis MO, 63110, the ice rink located in Forest Park. It is the largest outdoor ice rink in the Midwest. It offers public skating 365 days of the year, no matter the temperature/weather.

Admission for public skating is $6, and skate rental is $4. The rink is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday & Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight. There is a café right next to the rink, always open during skating hours.
