Author Ebony Ladelle visited Webster on Friday, Dec. 5, and spoke with students about her two books and her reasoning for wanting to be an author.
Ladelle explained that she had a ton of inspiration for Love Radio, but that the main one was wanting more love stories like the classic Black coming of age movies she grew up watching.
Ladelle shared with students that although she was working as a writer, it was intimidating to work with talented authors and writers while trying not to be insecure of her own work, especially in an extremely white dominated field at the time.
