Webster’s community closet serves as a safe space where students can get clothes, supplies and even toiletry needs.
From backpacks, to shoes, to deodorant, this closet has all the essentials and is located in Office 124.
The closet organizer, Julie Simonson, said, “I would say around five-to-seven people come to the closet daily.”
On average that’s around 25-35 people per week. Staff, students and people from the community donate clothing or items. The most needed resources at this time are coats, hoodies, socks and sweatpants.
