Men’s basketball competed in the Webster Classic from Thursday, Dec. 12, to Saturday, Dec 14. Webster ended the tournament in third place with two wins and one loss.
Eight teams were invited to play alongside Webster in the tournament. This included teams from St. Mary’s High School, Hazelwood Central High School, Jennings High School and others. Webster beat St. Mary’s High School 73-69. This year was the 24th year Webster has hosted the tournament. This year the tournament was sponsored by Streib Company.
After the tournament, the All-Tournament Team was announced with two athletes from Webster making the team. Both sophomore Scottie Adkinson and junior Quincy Williams were chosen.
