Molly Farhner is the newest addition to the world languages department. Before she came to Webster, she worked at Holt High School in Wentzville, MO.

Farhner said what led her to the Webster Groves School District was that when growing up, she was an only child with parents who didn’t particularly like to cook. She would come to Webster for all the yummy food, so she’s always known about the district since a young age.

Farhner was led to teaching because she wanted to make an impact on the lives of young people. In addition she loves interacting with children and especially loves Spanish. She said, “Kids are hilarious, and everyday is something new.”

“I hope my students would describe me as somebody who is kind, willing to listen, and hopefully funny,” Farhner added.

Spanish I class Evynn Lynch said, “She wakes us up and get us hype in the beginning of the day. She is very expressive with her tone and talks in a very exciting way.”

Lynch added that Farhner has lots of visuals, which help her understand the topic.

Another student, Nina Young, said Farhner teaches with visuals and adds that she is very helpful when answering questions the students have.

Father’s co-worker Miranda Forbes said, “…She has come to Webster with so many fresh ideas, and really eager to get to work with the students. She has been a wonderful colleague and a great admission to Webster.”

Forbes talked a lot about how Fahrner strides to make sure all students have a voice in her class and feel represented in the classroom.
