GSA to host Day of Silence

Day of Silence, Friday, April 12, is a movement started with the hopes to highlight the loss left by LGBTQIA+ people whose voices have been silenced through hate crimes, violence, or suicide.

To participate, students do not talk through verbal communication or social media, unless an emergency occurs.

The Gender and Sexuality Alliance have placed a QR code in the daily announcements starting on April 5, for students to sign up.

Students must contact teachers prior to their participation, and cannot use their participation to get out of school work.

For more information about how to get involved, contact GSA sponsor Susan Riegel.
