Upcoming total solar eclipse to be visible from high school

Protective glasses will be provided to sixth hour students so they can view the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8. Students will also be provided with an informational safety video.
Monday is a modified late-start schedule with students being released to Kopplin and Selma Field to view the eclipse.
The eclipse will start around 12:35 p.m. with totality occurring around 1:55 p.m and lasting four minutes.
