This year’s last Jazz Band concert will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Tickets will be free. The show, consisting of 11 pieces, includes both bands.
The concert will make an effort to feature the seniors, said band director Kevin Cole, to honor their last performances.
Cole said many students have needed to be “more steadfast” in their learning, especially after the pandemic. In the beginning of 2020, they practiced online, then moved to playing outdoors. Students had to be “more committed” to Jazz Band and “had to want to [stay].” He hopes to honor that commitment during the concert.
