School board members announced

Three women, Jo Doll, Grace Lee and Tara Scheer, won the school board election that took place on April 4 in Webster Groves.

There were four total candidates, Jo Doll, Justin Hauke, Grace Lee and Tara Scheer. Votes were cast for five candidates, including those previously listed and Courtney Schaefer who dropped out prior to the election but after the ballots were created.

Webster Groves citizens also voted on Proposition M for St.Louis county, which proposed to add a 3% tax on the 6% sales tax on marijuana in Missouri, and Proposition M for Webster Groves, which added an additional 3% sales tax to state and county tax. Both St.Louis county (65%) and Webster Groves (77.8%) passed Proposition M.
