Soccer team brings home awards after winning State

Varsity men’s soccer team took home the MHSAA Class 3 State Championship on Nov. 19. Along with becoming state champions, members of the team took home other awards.

Senior and team captain Luca Zarky had honors of All-Midwest, Class 3 Goalkeeper of the Year, Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, and First Team All-Metro.

Senior and captain Oliver Doyle won an All American award on top of Class 3 Player of the Year, First Team All-Metro, First Team All-Conference, Class 3 First Team All-State.

Senior Jonas Osterlei made Class 3 First Team All-State, First team All-Conference and Second Team All-Metro.

Senior Branyon Heard made Class 3 First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference.

Junior Riley Mihill made First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-Metro and Class 3 Region 1 Team.

Senior Jamieson Peplow took home Class 3 All-State Honorable Mention and First Team All-Conference.

Seniors Jack Lewis, Will Kaupp and Habi Baker all made Second Team All-Conference.
