Hixson Middle School’s team Unity teachers plan a visit from their camp Wyman counselors. The visit is planned for Dec. 21, from 2:50 pm to 3:20 p.m.
Hixson has had this tradition for over eight years. The team teachers would bring the high school counselors back to visit the campers they supervised. They gather in the auditorium and talk about their experiences at camp.
It has been two-and-a-half months since the campers have seen the counselors and this is a nice surprise for them. The campers talk about the counselors all the time, according to Kelly Williams.
