Senior Chloe Halls is widely recognized for her involvement in the Saint Louis music scene with her band “The Chainsaw Boyz” and their status within Webster Groves.

“I am most inspired by the music group Sammy Rae and the Friends, and I am also inspired by the other local bands in the STL music scene because they are all so supportive of each other,” Halls said.

Halls plans to attend Belmont University where she’ll study music business and production, a decision she said counselor Karen Verstraete was supportive and inis in the International Club.

“Chloe has been an active member in GNHS for several years now, and she was voted by her peers to be the club’s president this year. As president, she has run our monthly meetings, helped plan our Pajamas & Popcorn German movie night, and she has worked to offer the club several opportunities for service,” Brent Mackey, German NHS sponsor, said.

After looking back on her legacy at WGHS, Halls’ favorite memories are of the basketball games and going to the Garden Cafe with her friends after class, and her advice for her freshmen self was, “To express myself however I wanted and to be confident doing so.”
