News Brief: Women’s soccer team moves on to quarterfinals

Women’s soccer moved on to State after the District final game against Visitation Academy, with an overall record of 4-8. 

On Friday, May 20, junior Tori Gray scored the game winning goal 59 seconds into the second overtime. The final score was 1-0 Webster. Junior Olivia Perry played goalie as their backups-backup, not allowing a single goal to be scored. 

Free tickets to the Women’s soccer quarterfinals will be given out Thursday, May 26. The quarterfinals game will be Friday, May 27, 6 p.m., at Fort Zumwalt South.
