Feminist Coalition started collecting items for the Center for Women in Transition in December and were planning to collect donations through Dec. 20, but have extended the collection to the end of January.
Items that FemCo is collecting include pillows, gloves, hats, towels, soap/body wash, cleaning supplies and paper towels.
Any donations people might have should be brought to English teacher Katie Guymon’s room, 208.
Women in Transition is an organization which helps formerly incarcerated women transition from prison back into society.
