Juniors Jack Gleckler, Abby Fitzgerald, Maren Demargel, Katie Downey and Grace Ensor won best research at the AdZou Challenge.
The AdZou Challenge was started by the Mizzou Journalism School to promote strategic communications to high school students. Participants must be members of DECA and apply to be accepted into the competition.
This year’s prompt was about a hypothetical new Samsung phone with a GoPro which the students had to promote to Samsung’s target market. The team was given the prompt at the competition and had an hour-and-30 minutes to create a pitch to present to judges.
