News Brief: School announces plan for delayed start schedule in case of inclement weather

To prepare for inclement weather, the Webster Groves School District published a delayed start schedule decreasing all classes to 38 minutes long.

On Jan. 12, the high school sent out a weather delay plan that would push back classes to start at 9:25 a.m. for last name A-K and 12:38 p.m. for students with the last names L-Z. This would include the opening time for the building and move the morning group to 9:10 a.m. and the afternoon group to 12:30 p.m.. The end time of the school day will not be changed for either group.

According to the announcement, “This will only be utilized in the event of an announced district delay start due to inclement weather.”
