Interact Club recently participated in a holiday card drive for the local retirement home Sunrise.
Due to COVID it’s difficult to organize community service events, but drives are a good COVID-safe way to give back to the community without risking one’s health.
Senior and co-president of the club Jack Korte has missed giving back to the community, so he was excited for this project that kicked off the Interact Club’s year.
“It felt good to make a difference in the lives of those in need, especially during these times when it is harder to do community service,” Korte said.
