While the Turkey Day game has been canceled, some Spirit Week activities are still planned.

Students are invited to wear their tacky red attire for Tacky Day on Monday, Nov. 23, and to wear their orange and black for Spirit Day on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

The Virtual Spirit Week Pep Rally will  be shown as a YouTube video during the last 15 minutes of fourth hour on Nov. 24, and include the band, drum line, dance team, cheerleaders, robotics team and a virtual Senior Line Dance. Friendship Court will also be honored, and the Friendship King and Queen will be crowned.

Other activities will start with a student-athlete champion walk through the high school’s hallways on Tuesday, Nov. 24,  at 8:25 a.m. and 12:25 p.m. The walk will be to honor members of the athletic programs that have had great success.

Additionally, on Friday, Nov. 20, the Friendship Court nominations will be in and voting will commence from 7 a.m. until  11:55 p.m. A Google Form will be sent to students to vote for two of the nominees.
