School provides opportunities for parents
Webster Groves High School will host an open house on Wednesday to provide parents with an opportunity to meet their children’s teachers.
Parents will walk their students’ schedules and talk with teachers about the curriculum for each of the classes and ask any questions parents might have.
National Honors Society members will help guide parents to the correct classes.
The event will also include performances from the jazz band, a cappella, and others.
Prior to open house, Parents Club will host a kickoff event. The kickoff will start at 5:45 p.m., and open house will start at 6:30 p.m.

A cappella groups begin year with meeting, auditions
Candidates for A-Ladies and A-Men are required to attend a meeting either Aug. 19, at 2:45 p.m. or Aug. 20, at 7:15 a.m. in room 321.
For the first round of auditions will be Aug. 21-23, at 2:45 p.m. in room 321, candidates must choose one of these three opportunities to perform a five-minute audition.
Call backs for A-Men will be Aug. 28, at 2:45 p.m. in room 321, and call backs for A-Ladies will be Aug. 29, at 2:45 p.m. in room 321.
Vocal percussionists are welcome to audition.
