In a game that came down to the last two and a half minutes, the Lafayette Lancers defeated the Statesmen Varsity football team 25-27 at Moss Field on Sept. 29.
In addition to the game, fans saw the mini-cheerleaders perform, the eighth grade and marching bands play, and Farmer’s Insurance present a $2,200 donation to the athletic program.
