Annual run raises funds for Foundation

Local athletes will gather Oct. 21, for the annual Ivory Crockett Run for Webster which begins in front of the high school.
Events begin at 8:30 a.m. with the National Anthem and the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. There will also be a pancake breakfast and a 100 yard dash for children.
The event raises funds for the WGSD Foundation to provide educational grants.
Last year nearly 600 people participated.

Drama department presents fall play

Drama students will perform John Logan’s “Never the Sinner” Oct. 19-21, in the auditorium.
The fall play begins at 7 p.m. and costs $7 for students and $10 for adults.

Old Webster Trick-Or-Treating

Halloween falls on a Tuesday, so Old Webster businesses have decided to host a trick-or-treating experience on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. because many children don’t go out to trick-or-treat on school nights.

Expect to see posters displayed across the businesses to see which ones are participating in the event and which ones aren’t.
