Lightening forced a delay in the Webster Groves/Ritenour game with 4:39 left in the first quarter last night at Moss Field. The teams will meet again tonight at 7 p.m. at Moss Field.
Before the delay, Ritenour opened with a quick touchdown drive ending in a 2-yard punch in with 9:08 left in the first quarter.
Then a 61-yard Statesmen breakout play got them into the red zone, and senior Donovan Daniels finished the drive with a 3-yard scramble for a touchdown, tying the game 7-7.
When the game delay was called, Webster had the ball.
