Thousands celebrated Japanese history, culture and people at the Botanical Garden’s Japanese Festival during the Labor Day weekend.
The festival has existed since 1977 and is one of the largest and oldest festivals of its kind in the United States.
Activities included demonstrations of kendo, aikido, sumo wrestling, cooking and origami. Also there was a cosplay fashion show.
