National Honors Society held a blood drive in the gym for Mercy Hospital on Dec. 5. Students who donated had to be seniors, over 115 pounds, not be on a non-prescription drug, and have no tattoos. The blood is used for hospital patients who are dealing with things like transplants, cancer, trauma, anemia or open-heart surgery.
