Slideshow: Old Webster Jazz and Blues Festival entertains thousands

Nine bands, including the WGHS Jazz I Band, entertained an estimated 14,000 music lovers at the Old Webster Jazz and Blues Festival Sept. 20, from noon until 11 p.m.

The Funky Butt Brass Band, Big Brother Thunder and the Master Blasters, Gene Dobbs Bradford and the Blues Experience, Webster University Jazz Ensemble and Marquise Knox with special guest Big George Brock performed on the Webster University Stage on Gore Avenue.

The winner of Old Webster’s Got Talent, 442s with Special Guest Erin Bode, St. Louis Jazz All-Stars, WGHS Jazz I Band and  Jim Manley & Wild, Cool and Swingin’ performed on the Allen Avenue Stage.
