Extensive lightning and thunder prompted a delay of the Webster Groves vs. Parkway South football game on Sept. 5, just 48 seconds into the game.
The high school and middle school marching bands didn’t have a chance to play until the rescheduled game at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Webster won with a final score of 49 to 33.
