Students celebrated spirit week of Nov. 24-29.
Events included turkey bowling, bungee run, car smashing and senior line dance.
“It was exciting to see all the freshman come up to see the bungee jump this year,” said Katie McHugh, senior. “It was funny watching my friends on the bungee run.”
Students paid $1 for three runs in the bungee run. Students then put on a harness hooked to a bungee cord and ran down the bouncy runway. The main goal was to see who got the furthest.
Turkey bowling was free. Students from each class bowled. The top class was juniors with a total of 198 points. Freshmen scored 178 points, sophomores scored 168 points, and seniors scored 158 points.
The car smashing event cost $3 for three hits to a metal part of the car. Students could also pay $5 to hit the window three times.
Schaefer Autobody sponsored the car smashing event on Nov. 27. The car was donated free from Schaefar Autobody. Profit off the car smashing was $126.
“The class had to market and advertise for a graded project this semester,” said Kara Siebe. “Turkey Day is one of their bigger projects.”
