Scholar Bowl competed in the St. Louis University Invitational on Nov. 2. There were 17 teams in attendance.
The tournament used the IS-234A National Academic Quiz Tournament set. The Statesmen won all their matches and ended up in the championship where they won first place and received a trophy. In addition, three of the team’s members were in the top 10 scorers at halftime.
The team’s strong performance also secured it a spot at nationals.
