Due to Covid-19, the Webster Fourth of July celebration has been postponed.

This decision was made at a City Council meeting on April 21. It was decided that the Community Days carnival and fireworks display would be postponed to a currently still undecided date, while the parade would be modified.

The parade this year will be an “at home” or “reverse” parade, the idea being that local businesses and residents will make their own floats to display for others viewing.

This postponement is among other postponements and cancellations of Independence day celebrations, such as Fair Saint Louis.
