With COVID-19,  people will have to take some precautions like social distancing and isolation. People have been asked to self isolate to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

According to a businessinsider.com article for introverts,  this is a time where they don’t have to talk to people, and they can work from home or they can work at home for school, but for the extroverts there is a lot of stress not being able to interact with other people

The coronavirus is really contagious, so the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued guidelines that people should stay at least 6 feet apart from anyone outside to help slow the spread of the virus. The CDC added that if people do go outside and interact with people then wear something over their mouths.

During this time there is a lot of stress, and this can lead to some problems, especially if people are in quarantine and self isolated. The downside to quarantine is people can’t see their family, have to use phones and electronics to talk to people. They could also send letters to other people.

Self isolation can lead to loneliness for those living by themselves because before people could see other people like their friends, but now they have to stay in their houses.

Loneliness and being bored are not two things people should mix because when people are bored and lonely, people could do things they could regret later on when this dies down and everyone is not in quarantine anymore.

One example of people who may regret their decisions are people cutting and dying their hair. They may regret it because they can’t just go to the barbershop and get it fixed.

Also more people are on social media, and that has led to a thing called the coronavirus challenge. This is where people go around trying to get the COVID-19 and the younger generations think that they have an immunity to it, but that is not the case. To stop the spread of the virus stay inside and don’t go around licking things.

The World Health Organization (WHO) says that people should not touch their face after people go into public places because people could have touched something that could be infected with COVID-19.

Self isolation is used when one person starts to show symptoms of the coronavirus. This means if someone in a house gets it, everyone in that house is  going to be on lock down. This could end in seven days after they start to get symptoms or it could be 14 days, depending on who gets it, and who tests positive for it.

Some people need to self isolate even though they are not showing any signs or symptoms because it could be really easy for some people to get this virus. People with immune system issues, people that are really vulnerable are people who have to have a surgery. People with heart and lung problems and people of the older generations.

Some things that people can do to try and not get the coronavirus is washing their hands and putting on a mask when people go outside to public places. People could also cover coughs and sneezes in a tissue.
