Breaking News: Clark to retire as principal at end of year

Principal Dr. Jon Clark will retire at the end of the 2017-2018 school year.

This morning, assistant principal Dr. John Raimando read a letter from Dr. Clark on the announcements during second hour.

“For the past 22 years, I’ve had the best job around. However, after much thought and consideration, I’ve made the decision to retire as principal at the end of this school year,” Dr. Clark said in his letter.

After he read the letter, Dr. Raimondo spoke about his relationship with and the impact of Dr. Clark.

“He is truly an amazing person. His dedication and commitment to the students, staff and community of Webster Groves High School is without comparison,” Raimondo said.

“I will always be both devoted to Webster Groves High School and will forever be a Statesman,” Clark said.
