Firefighters from Rock Hill, Glendale and Brentwood put out a school bus fire about 3 p.m. today on the corner of Manchester and Hudson Avenue near the Hacienda restaurant.  No one was hurt.

The driver was on the bus when it started to smoke, so she got off, and then, a witness said, the bus turned itself on and it burst into flame.  It took five to 10 minutes to put the fire out.

The school bus serves students from Hudson Elementary, but no students were on the bus since Hudson had not let out yet.
