Senior David Azar has much to be thankful for. From winning the Mr. Webster Pageant to making new friends over his four years at Webster, Azar is bound to never forget Webster Groves High School.

“I could not have asked to go to a better high school,” said Azar. “Webster has been the best four years of my life.” Azar especially wanted to thank his class for the friendship it gave him.

“This class has given me so much. That goes for the school as well,” said Azar. “I’ve tried my best to give back that friendship [my class] gave me. I’m proud to be a member of this class.”

“I’ve known David for all four years at the high school,” said senior Zach Baetz. “I must say, it has been a pleasure to know David.”

One of Azar’s most memorable moments at Webster was when he won the Mr. Webster Pageant.

“My fellow contestants were so much fun to be around, and I was blessed with a beautiful and supportive escort (senior Kristin Watt), who also happens to be a close friend,” said Azar.

Azar said winning the pageant “proved to [him] that [his] class supports each other and can be friends with anyone, not just their close groups of friends.”

Azar said he will, no doubt, miss Webster “with every fiber of [his] being.” Azar added, “I’m guaranteeing that I will tear up at graduation.”
