Prior to the 2013-2014 school year, the foreign language classes will be moving to another part of the high school.
The foreign language and math hall is due for renovations including a new roof and new air conditioning units.
“We used to joke about knowing what lunch you have if your roof is leaking, even though it was a joke its true,” said Dr. Clark.
The funds for this new project are left over from the money Webster Groves School district had for the new addition of the high school.
“Im excited that we are finally doing this, it (the foreign language hall) is going to look great,” said Dr. Clark.
The renovations are due to start just after spring break and are set to be completely finished by the end of next year. The classes that are in the foreign language and math halls will be moved to various locations including the mead center, the old band room, and some teachers will be sharing classes until the new class rooms are ready.
“Im very excited for the renovations, the air conditioning was pretty bad in the foreign language hall,” said senior Ben Kessler.
